Safety Update: PETZL stops rated for rescues?

Concerns have been raised by our team leaders concerning the rating

stamped on the new model of the PETZL Stop descender, 150kg Max.

This would be insufficient for rescues where both the rescuer and casualty
are suspended from one stop. TRAC investigated this and found on the
accompanying documentation the stop's
ratings are clarified.

The 150kg Max rating is for normal usage and the stop has
a rating up to 250kg for rescue purposes where care is taken and

additional braking is used.
