Talon NDT provides a flexible yet tailored approach to NDT services and certification
Companies increasingly request a personal package of services; fine tuned to their individual needs and sourced from one outlet.
This is in line with the growing complexity of specific NDT methods and the increasing stringency of International Standards, European Certification Schemes and end user/customer requirements.
Talon NDT is managed by Ian Judge who is well known throughout the NDE industry.
Due to the nature of NDT Certification Schemes, it is difficult to enter the industry without prior practical experience.
It is however possible to be trained and examined in NDT techniques to be ready for future certification. This course is intended for candidates with none or little experience in NDT but have a practical hands-on trade or other knowledge, skills or abilities.
This is a perfect introductory package for a skilled technician to the Oil and Gas industry, both onshore and offshore.
The course duration will be five weeks which consists of approximately 40 hours classroom tuition and 10 to 15 hours per week self study homework exercises.
A Bed & breakfast allowance is also included and lunches are provided at the training centre. (Monday to Friday only)
This course is not limited to HMF personnel. Anyone can attend.
There is no guarantee of employment on completing this course but this package of training gives the candidate an extensive grounding in NDT and Rope Access Inspection which is utilised in a wide variety of industry sectors worldwide.
All training courses for NDT are accredited by the British Institute of NDT as suitable for preparation for PCN Certification.
