<description><![CDATA[We are currently looking for an experienced Plant Inspector for a permanent role based in Teeside.
Working within the Inspection Group you will help to ensure that the vessels, piping and other equipment on the site are suitably inspected to ensure that safety, reliability and legislative requirements are satisfied. The role will involve a number of activities associated with the inspection, fabrication and repair of a wide range of equipment. The jobholder will report to the Inspection and Materials Engineers whilst working under the day-to-day direction of the Lead Plant Inspector.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Liaise with Reliability Planners to arrange inspection activities
•	Conduct inspections as described in the site schemes of examination or as directed by the Inspection Engineer, Materials Engineer or Lead Plant Inspector.
•	Arrange and supervise external NDT contractors as required
•	Prepare clear and concise inspection reports and effectively communicate inspection requirements and findings.
•	Carryout quality control duties on fabrication and repairs when required.
•	Assist in maintaining the corrosion lab in good order
•	Prepare samples and conduct materials performance investigations as directed by the Materials Engineer.

To be considered you must hold a minimum level ONC or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience of vessel/piping inspection. You must hold recognised qualifications in DPI, MPI and UT inspection to Level II with 5 years relevant experience. A full clean driving licence is essential.

Positions available:  2 part time/contract

This contract position is significantly different than most other rope access positions. It requires not only certification in IRATA/SPRAT as an industrial rope technician but also outstanding customer service and public engagement. The OTE season traditionally runs from mid-April to late November.  Hourly rates of $17.50 to $40.00 per hr, along with flat rate per event compensation will be paid as well as an additional financial benefits package. Part time, casual will allow @20- 80 days per travel per annum.   

Level III 			$30.00 - $40.00 per hr  
Level II 			$20.00 - $30.00 per hr
Level I				$17.50 - $25.00 per hr

This position requires on site safety management and supervision of technical staff and volunteers. The OTE season traditionally runs from mid-April to late November. In 2010, this position requires both as a casual, contract event-based person(s), as well as a full time, annual salaried individual .  Hourly rates are based on $35.00 to $45.00 per hr built into a flat rate per event compensation package with additional financial benefits to be negotiated. Full time annual salary-based position is available ranging from $42,000.00 to $62,500.00 with additional financial benefits to be negotiated.

- Level 3 IRATA/SPRAT 
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
- Proven time management and customer service skills 
- Demonstrated supervisory, management and team development experience

Ideally suited for the experienced industrial rope technician who is looking to make a difference. Whether full time or casual, this individual is focused on working in a team environment to make a social impact. Individuals with lifestyle and family commitments that no longer permit or desire extensive periods of offshore or road travel will be a welcomed applicant. Full time position requires approx 100-120 days of travel per annum. Part time, casual will allow approx 20- 80 days per travel per annum.

Role: Management of all facets of the operational side of the business.  Working in conjunction with the Operations Co-ordinator, Office Manager and Managing Director on a daily basis and occasionally the Financial Director.

Reporting Structure:   Reporting to the Managing Director

Day to Day Responsibilities and Tasks:

-Managing our sub-contractors which includes finding new operatives, selecting operatives for specialist training, carrying out on-the-job training and maintaining standards and discipline within the company. 

-Ensuring that the company tools and vehicles are maintained and that the stores and consumables are managed. 

-Liaising with the office manager regarding invoicing, scheduling, and the reconciliations of the costs of labour and materials. 

-To aim to carry out the works in the most profitable manner and to continue to build relationships with our current clients to ensure continuity in our service. 

Requirements: 

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following: 

-Computer literacy, with experience of Word, Excel, Outlook and Photoshop; 

-A high level of literacy and numeracy with knowledge of construction related topics; 

-Good organisational and time-management skills and the ability to prioritise and use their own initiative and common sense; 

-A strong background in working at height with a minimum of IRATA Level 3 and experience in construction and general maintenance; 

-Full British Drivers Licence.

- Non Destructive Testing and Inspection
- IRATA Rope Access Level 1+ preferable. Must be willing to undertake IRATA Training if not currently certified.

•	Perth, Australia based. We are willing to provide employer Visa sponsorship for experienced UK candidates if you are willing to relocate yourself. 
•	Level 2 Qualifications in NDT disciplines from AINDT, PCN or CSWIP for Ultrasonics (UT), Radiography (RT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), Eddy Current (EC)
•	AICIP or API qualifications in Inspection.
•	A minimum of IRATA Level 1 or willingness to get trained in IRATA Rope Access qualification
•	An adequate knowledge of inspection codes criteria and statutory requirements
•	An understanding of NATA requirements
