IRATA General requirements for certification

General requirements for certification of personnel engaged in industrial rope access methods Launched by IRATA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Total Access welcomes the launch of the latest general requirements for certification of personnel engaged in industrial rope access methods from IRATA.This is the first revision of this keystone document for International Rope Access training for 3 yearsThe document has been developed by IRATA to provide training and assessment criteria for personnel who will be engaged in rope access methods. It is recognised that the safety, application and effectiveness of industrial rope access methods depend upon both the capabilities of the personnel who perform them and the persons responsible for those personnel. The independent assessments are designed to test the candidate's knowledge and understanding of the operations performed, and to provide industry with an assured minimum standard of proficiency.Total Access MD Graham Burnett commented "IRATA has been leading the way across the globe in Rope Access training for over 20 years and the commitment to continual improvement shown in this latest revision of the General requirements document is to highly commended its members are again safe in the knowledge worldwide"The document can be downloaded here:http://www.totalaccess.co.uk/Upload/File/General_Requirements_3_1.pdf ####Total Access (UK) LtdTel: 01785 850333W: www.totalaccess.co.ukDetails: www.rigg-access.com/company/more_details.asp?uid=7074
