Major accreditation secured for Aberdeen training firm

Aberdeen-based offshore training provider Allied Training Services has announced that it has extended its training facilities with a £70,000 investment. It has also just secured the ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation.

It has also just secured the ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation.Founded in 2002, Allied Training Services provides a range of health and safety courses to various industries, with focus on the international energy sector. Initially dedicated to the training of forklift drivers, the company has now become a qualified Rope Access trainer through the Industrial Rope Access trade Association (IRATA). The facility is the first venue in Aberdeen to offer simulated Night Time Rope Access training and provides training overseas in countries including Norway, Baku and Uganda.Danny Lonie, managing director, Allied Training Services, said “we are delighted to have secured our most recent accreditation – this is one of the steps we have taken to strongly push the business forward and answer the requirements of the industries we operate in.
